Forgot to mention. I love the Salt and Pepper wings. Tried them for the first time when visiting my sister in Edmonton last year. I have had a local pub add them to their menu. They have become quite the hit. Salt and Pepper with hot sauce on the side. Hard to go wrong.
Starting to get hungry with all this talk about wings. A little thirsty too! |

| Hey folks, we need another pub night soon. I've been pretty busy with work/teaching/the MINI/etc. that i haven't had a chance to hang out with y'all. Just not at that place on 12th again, don't want to dodge bullets to get some wings  |

Mike was going for the biker-image-backdrop with that choice but what we got was non-stop-loud-rap-music....
Hey it will be great no matter where we have it. How 'bout some place central like the Kilt and Caber in McKenzie town??? :P |

Actually, if all goes as of our last plan, we should be in Calgary Tuesday and Wednesday the 29th and 30th of May... |

Testing the waters for a Calgary Pub night - late November or early December. Get together and swap lies and tip a couple beers back. It won't be the same without Mashby but the rest of us will have to raise a pint in his honor.
Any takers???? |

i could be convinced to sit and chat abooot the world of bikes for awhile... not that i've been doing much more than riding my derelict street bike this year  although I havent ridden for two days... that little bit of snow buried my triple the other day and i dont seem to like riding at -10C at 7:30 in the morning anymore with snow on the back streets, etc... hmmm, i'm becoming a softy! since i barely felt like knocking the snow off the thing really... and i guess the fact that this pig (bike) of mine weighs in at half of a Honda Civic, has a front tire that is about 20 years old, takes 20 boots to kick-start to life now that the temp has dropped, etc...... ahh well... like i said, a softy. maybe if i tune the thing or adjust the idle mixture a bit, change to 5w30 oil instead of 20w50(!), and put a bike cover on the the beast it will be that much easier to hop on and ride as the temperature drops.
i spend so little time hanging out with the motorcycling fraternity anymore (probably because the crowd can be a lot like a Fraternity at times), but i did recenty pick up a truck in preparation for getting a dirt bike for a bit of fun next season... and lo-and-behold i found that i had about half of my dirt riding gear stored at my sisters place --weeee  --- only gotta buy new boots, chest protector and my kidney-belt seems to have vanished... i better start doing something like exercise this winter (ick!) to at least have some chance of being able to pick myself up out of the dirt.. |
