Canada Day Poker Run - Calgary

Some folks i know are putting together a Canada Day poker run. The email I got is pasted below:

I am interested to know who is in for the poker run and those interested in
volunteering. This year we have decided to change some things in hopes
of raising more money for the MS society.

In conjunction with Kits Pub on 16th Ave and Molson this Canada Day we will
be hosting an 'amazing race' and poker run. Entry fee will be 25
dollars with 15 dollars going to MS and 10 dollars going to cover cost
of food.

Both events will start between 10:30am and 11:00am on July 1st
at Kits Pub. A continental style breakfast will be served to start and
then we will be heading out for the poker run while other teams will be
participating in the 'amazing race' around Calgary.

Upon return there will be a beef dinner served for those who participated in the events.
Following the dinner at Kits there is also a band playing as well. I
have forgotten the name of the band but I have heard nothing but good
reviews.

Prizes this year are prize packages provided by Molson for the winner of
the run and the winner of the 'amazing race'.

I will have ALL the details within this week.

I am still in need of volunteers to run the check stops and also those
participating in the run. Entry fee to draw a card is $25. We should
be able to easily raise in excess of $1000! woooo hoooooo

For those of you who will have a few drinks there may be some garage space available to park your rides.

In short, book the day off, let me know how you will be participating
and i hope to see you all out on that day....I will be forwarding the
advertisments for it as soon as possible.

Also pass this information along to all those who are interested in
either event. Should be lots of fun!
