Hi Y'all,
Although i'm actually Canadian, I'm a student in Australia for one more year at least.
I've just bought a YamahaVX535 and am looking to ride around (no, not ALL the way around) the country for the summer (dec-feb).
If anyone wants to join me for some trips, I'm up for anything (except gravel), super easy-going to travel with, but on a bit of a budget...
Let me know (e-mail or post a reply) if you're interested or if you've got some great ideas!

| I was under the impression that you had to rent a bike from them (don't think that's in my budget...) |

Doesn't look like much of a response here. Try this Australian site. You should be able to hook up there.

Normally I would not diss' an aussie site, but netriders has some pretty questionable moderators. Unlike you fantastic americans who enjoy freedom of speech, my fellow aussies who are involved with forums are a lot more conservative and unless you totally conform to their way of thinking your posts will most likely be removed or editted up the wazoo :)
This is why you find a lot of aussies posting on american forums, believe it or not, site admins in australia are petrafied of possible litigations, so they heavily moderate, I bet most people would of thought it the other way round, that aussie sites would be relaxed and USA sites would be up tight. |
