3rd Ontario Mad Bastard Scooter Rally - June 23-24th, 2007.
May 4th, 2007 - CMG Press Release

MONTREAL/ April 30, 2007 - - CMG Online Magazine is launching its third Mad Bastard Scooter Rally. Taking place on June 23rd and 24th 2007, the rally will challenge its participants to ride approximately 800 kms within a maximum of 24 hours on a scenic but testing route through eastern Ontario.

The MBS Rally is open to any scooter and comprises of four different classes, which are determined by the size of the scooter ridden. The smallest “Straight Jacket” class has a limit of 24 hours to complete the route; the larger scooters are allowed less time to complete the route.

As well as time limitations, points are awarded based on the size, age and creativity of the scooter ridden, rider attire, and their ability to complete optional “madness” tasks along the way.

Participants are treated to a welcoming Registration Banquet on the Friday night as well as a Kymco Canada Awards Banquet on the Sunday afternoon where the ‘maddest bastard’ will receive the grand prize of a brand new Kymco Vitality 50 4T scooter.

Among the forty registered participants to date will be Mark Richardson, from the Toronto Star, Costa Mouzouris from Cycle Canada, several other moto-journalists, and of course all the other dedicated - slightly mad - scooter fans.

Registration for the rally is C$150.00 with a deadline of midnight June 1st.
