The final steel beam of the Harley-Davidson Museum building was placed atop an adjoining 80-foot tower May 4, representing a significant milestone in the construction of the new facility. With great pride, Harley-Davidson executives and construction team workers signed the beam before Willie G. Davidson, senior vice president and chief styling officer, gave the signal for it to be raised to the top of the tower.

Construction of the Harley-Davidson Museum, located at 6th and Canal Street near downtown Milwaukee, began with a groundbreaking ceremony held on June 1, 2006. With plans to open in 2008, the Harley-Davidson Museum will be a must-see destination for motorcyclists and Harley enthusiasts alike.
