Nope. I'm a long ways from Brandon but your post looked lonely so I thought I'd stop in and keep you company until they get here. :drunk: |

Winnipeg MB here, rebuilding a '81 Kawasaki KE125 on/off road currently. It's my first bike :D Hoping to have it up and running by the end of the month. Probably just going to dirt ride it for the remainder of this season, but will get it safetied and on the street next year.
Had a taste and looking for more, where's a good place to find project bikes in manitoba? I'd like to do another small displacement on/off roader this winter for my wife to ride.
Later all, |

I was born in Winnipeg, does that count? :D I also used to inspect the Artillery Regiment's equipment in Shilo on an annual basis back in the late 80's, but really the last time I was in MB was when I rode through on my way to Sask back in '02.
Anyway, I hope you find some local riders to hang out with. |

| I've never been to Manitoba, but I might be passing through in June. I'm hoping to do a road trip on my bike. |

For sure, I will send a message when I know for sure.
I have the time booked off from my workplace. I'll be working on putting my plan together soon and I'm waiting to hear from my friend whether the time can be booked off or not. |

Hey Cansoldier,
Sorry about the late reply, just surfing the net and came accross your post. I'm not sure if you're still posted to Shilo or not but if you are and are still biking you may want to check us out at www.thecav.ca
We are a riding group made up of serving and ex serving CF members. Dieppe unit has started up and take in Winnipeg, Shilo and Brandon. If you are still out there link up and send us an Email.

| I joined last week and also came upon your post...I didn't know about the cav group and will def. check it out when I get back to Edmonton. I like to jog out at the base there and even end up at the officer's mess occassionally, but I wish I had a bike to practice on here (based north of Winnipeg) for the summer so I'm not such a newb come August. However, I guess planes will have to be enough fun for me for now. |
