I am assuming Baddeck, Cape Breton. If so, then...

I am not from Baddeck. However I have been there. A very nice little town. I stayed at the Telegraph House Inn. I can recommend it. Also be sure to check out the Baddeck Lobster Suppers. For other information on the area check out www.visitbaddeck.com

My brother in law owns an island there, we are supposed to go this summer.I don't know much about it.
I hope there is something to do, fishing, golf.
I'll pass on the lobster though, can't stand seafood.

You will find that and much more to do in Baddeck including fantastic golf, entertainment and nature activities. The Cabot Trail is an incredible drive - clearly one of the greatest rides in the world IMHO. If you go to NovaScotiaBikers.com you can request a free Nova Scotia Motorcylce tour guide which brekas down the province into regions and has an excellent section on Cape Breton.

I'll be staying on "bone island" with my wife and kids, so I don't know how I'll get my bike there, much less have any real fun.
How are the local pub's? mabey I can hide there.

Is there any place to rent a motorcycle around there?
