Beautiful area. Visited Salmon Arm many times in the past when I lived in Kelowna, BC.
I remember coming on the Grey Hound from Toronto on Christmas 1998 and the winter storm they had in Salmon Arm. I didn't know where I was and kept calling it "Salmon River" as I thought I heard it wrongly and said ... "I must have heard it wrong, it can't be called Salmon Arm, that's just too funny!"

Hey, VStar, look up the International Star Riders Association (ISRA)
and more specifically the British Columbia Northern Stars. They have a website and discussions and they organize rides. A lot of them live in your neck of the woods.
If I remember later I will get the links and post them. |
