Hi all!
Just letting you know about a charity poker run I am coordinating. ALL bikes are welcome... especially since I am on a VFR! :D Early estimates are showing a turnout of 500 riders! This is the second time I've organized the event; the prior event in 2004 ended with a turnout of 300! The run is being put together to benefit Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited, Inc ~ a therapeutic horseback riding program for those with disabilities and special needs! 100% of the proceeds are going directly to them!
So... there's LOTS to offer:
LIVE MUSIC & a RELAXING beer garden (~ for those who choose)
GREAT FOOD & COLD DRINKS!
LOTS of Awards and Raffles!
(One of our raffle items is a $50 gift cert to CycleGadgets!)
A BIG 50/50 Raffle (You could win up to $2500!)
The ride is over 100 miles and will take place rain or shine.
Goody bags are going to the first 250 riders!
(CycleGadgets donated the bags and an insert! Lots
more from various companies will be included!)
