fair price?
Ok, so I have a 1972 Yamaha DS7. It's not a super common bike, parts are hard to find. I bought it as a project, ran out of time and money, and kind of want to unload it. But I have no idea what a fair price would be. Inside of the gas tank was re-done, tins were recently painted HOK Organic Green, ...

Re: looking for advise
Hi I have a 1982 KZ750. I let it idle for too long and the oil light came on. Does anyone know what kind of damage I may have done???? James I've never heard of letting a bike idle for "too long." Just get the oil up to the proper level and hope for the best. And check your oil every time...

Re: 2011 Victory Zach Ness Vegas - COOL WALL VOTE: In Progre
eh, I had to give it its first uncool vote. I've liked some Victory's, but overall they just don't do anything for me. I like things about it, like I wouldn't mind those wheels being on my bike, but I just don't like the way it all comes together. If there were a neutral option, I'd have picked that...

I was debating between uncool and fail. If you need the 3rd wheel for some reason, a side car is a way cooler option.

Re: 2010 Manual Stick Shift Cars (manual transmissions) list
I hate the automatics where you tell it when to shift. I'd rather just have an automatic. If you can't drive a stick, don't pretend.

Re: Why are Harleys cool?
I'll even take a car with roll up windows and manual door mirrors in standard transmission... but they don't sell many of those new anymore. (Our last car had all that and was a 2004 Chevy Aveo5) The extinction of the roll-up window annoys me, actually. How hard is it (and how often do you have to)...

Re: Beer!
that Wild Child IPA sounds really familiar. Can't think of the brewery for the life of me.
But dude... no Bell's? Must not be able to get it out there? It's based out of Michigan, best brewery out there. Hopslam if you like the real crazy stuff.

Re: Why are Harleys cool?
Measuring fuel mileage is easy and from the info above you get to really understand that all is not as it theoretically should be. The air cooled "outdated" engine is actually more efficient at moving a significantly heavier motorcycle than the more modern liquid cooled V-Rod. My experien...

Re: Why are Harleys cool?
When I see any HD stitting still at any intersection I can see the bike shaking up and down with the handlebars vibrating, the engine sounds like it has a miss, or needs a tune up, and I shake my head in discust and wonder how uncomfortable that is for the rider. it sounds like this "BLUMM---B...
