Re: A or B: Pick one!

Guitar, definitely. They're much more compact, and you don't need a specialist to tune them.

Home Depot?

Or Lowe's?

Re: This week: 2013 Suzuki DR-Z400SM : Vote Today

It has a nice stance, and most of the things that I dislike (street tires and gold forks) should be easily fixed. Plus, it should prove a lot of fun off-road. Therefore, I gave it a Cool vote. If the blue played a more prominent role, and I was certain I could flat-foot it, I would have given it an ...

Re: A or B: Pick one!

Thanks for the reply, Mike. I'll take that into consideration when making that first bike purchase. When it comes to the matter of tacos or hamburgers, that can vary depending on my mood. But since I could really go for an In-N-Out Double-Double (Animal-Style, no lettuce) right now, hamburgers it is...

Re: USA Road Trip Help

It's been a long while since I was in Chicago (my boot camp wasn't too far from there), but I seem to remember it was a pretty good place for live music; you might have some luck with blues there. Nashville and Branson, MO, though a little out of your way, would both be good places for country music...

Mac and cheese, provided it isn't boxed. Otherwise, shepherd's pie.

Now, a question I'm pondering, so I'd really like to hear reasoning behind the answer:

Small twin?

Or big single?

Re: I've just about decided on a bike...but what about gear?

I went to another dealership after work yesterday, and that one had some Virago/Star 250s. I like that riding position, so I'm pretty sure my first bike will be a smaller cruiser. Still need to head into the north part of town and get a feel for the Boulevard S40. I'll also have to take a more serio...

The lack of design effort... That's probably a little closer to what I meant when I described the styling as "overblown." There is a lack of cohesiveness, and all that black plastic works against the paint (especially on the red bike). Now that I think about it, even the license plate bra...

Unless they no longer fit, that's exactly what I plan to do.

Re: Unobtainium - what are you trusting for???

Pretty much any motorcycle is unobtanium to me at present, as I don't even have a permit, and don't see any sense in buying something I can't legally ride yet. However, here is a quick list. 1948 Harley-Davidson FL Any 1953 or older big Indian Triumph Tiger T100C Bridgestone 350 GTO 1969 Honda CB750...
