Re: good morning from Vancouver!
Here's the video from my drive home on Sunday afternoon...
I put it to Christmas music...just seemed fitting...at least I don't feel bad about my bike still being broken...couldn't ride if I wanted to...

The video won't play. It must have copyrighted music...

Yeah, I had Nat "King" Cole - The Christmas Song...I had to change it to some approved music...not quite the same...

never an issue lolblues2cruise wrote:I love the crisp snow and sunny days of winter. I also really liked the piece of music you imbedded. What is it?
Hey, Islesfan....sorry about the hijack....
looking at the weekend sunday seems like it might be an okay day for a ride, but I may not be able to go out this weekend, fighting a flu that's kicking my rear right now and if I'm not quite a bit better by then I'm going to have to leave it parked. After only having riding experience from October on, spring and summer riding is going to seem like paradise

I enjoy winter as well, just not the in between seasons...not quite cold enough to not melt the snow in the afternoon & having to use a pile of washer fluid to be able to see...except you headlights stay dirty...blues2cruise wrote:I love the crisp snow and sunny days of winter. Hey, Islesfan....sorry about the hijack....
As for the song...I'm not sure who it is, but the title of the song is "Snow"...I wanted a christmas song..."Let it snow, let it snow..." is what I was looking for, but this one seemed to be okay...just not quite what I wanted...I had Nat "King" Cole - The Christmas Song before, but YouTube didn't like that...copyrights?? I guess...but I'm not making money from the videos, so I didn't think it would be an issue...live & learn...
I will be making a few winter videos, since I do a lot of road trips for work...I'll try to get some videos of some lease roads in the mountains...should be nice...
Only three more months...then I can ride again...I better get the bike fixed, runnin' out of time...
Hope you feel better by the weekend, Islesfan91...and you need to take more pictures while on your rides...we likey the pictures...
Later.

Re: good morning from Vancouver!
just rolled over 1000km this morning on my way in to work. Leaving here in an hour to head over to Burnaby Kawasaki for my appointment for the first service. Not too shabby for a newbie in winter time I think!
not the best weather forecast for it today, but right now it's clear and above freezing and the ride in at 5:30 this morning was actually not bad at all and very little traffic to contend with. Not looking forward to heading over the queensborough bridge at 8am during rush hour, but more experience, right?
