With flying there is a saying -

'Its better to be down here, wishing you were up there, than to be up there, wishing you were down here."

good point sir

with the snow coming this weekend I'm assuming it'll either be around a while, or the roads will all get salted and I won't be able to ride for a while, so was kind of hoping to make it out on the bike today and get a ride in before I'm stuck for a while.

we'll see, I'm tempted to go grab it during my lunch break at work and at least get the ride back and home again on it, but will depend what the weather looks like around noon

it's now the 26th and with a combination of bad weather and plans to move in three weeks now, I haven't been on the bike since the 9th. Despite being a very new rider, I'm missing the hell out of it. The sun today is not helping either, I have to use the car to pick up something after work so the bike is still parked. Hoping the weather changes for the weekend from rain to sun.

I feel your pain, buddy...I haven't ridden since the 11th...SEPTEMBER 11th... :grimmace:

Going to the bike show was a terrible plan...now I've got a terrible case of the Rider Itch (totally different from Jock Itch  )...is 41 too young to be a snow bird? maybe I need to find a job that takes me south for the winter...

Although I do get to go touring around a bit...took a nice pic...

Just isn't bike weather here...yet!!

Later.

sunny today and 6C, unfortunately stuck in the cage again, and the weekend looks like rain throughout. I'm going to hold out a small hope that when I wake up tomorrow it'll just be cloudy for the morning and I'll be able to take the bike out.

I have never hated the snow as much as I do this year (okay maybe I hated it a ton as well when I was driving the 5.0L mustang)

Nah, the crappy weather sucks way more when you own a bike. Even in a downpour, you'll head out in the mustang...

got out for about an hour and a half on saturday. Damn it felt good to ride again! Looking at the weather forecast this weekend so far seems to be sunny and clear, and temps up to 10C

I'll be riding! If we weren't moving in two weeks I'd be riding all weekend.
