Hello everyone. I just found this forum today and decided to join to see what I can learn or contribute here. I have been riding for about 35 years with a hiatus of about 7 years between 2007 and 2014. I got back into motorcycling last March, buying a 2013 Yamaha Star 250. I wanted to start out with a smaller bike since I had not ridden for so long. In August of this year I traded the Star 250 in on a new 2014 Yamaha Bolt R-Spec! I love my Bolt! Anyway, I hope to connect with others here. We have the greatest hobby, sport in the world!
P.S. Is it Spring yet?

Re: Newbie Here!
Welcome and Merry Christmas!
Glad you found us and glad to have you a part of the TMW community!
Wow, sounds like you have quite a good and responsible head on your shoulders, what you bought, did and done for bikes was text-book perfect.
A lot of new/returning riders are usually quite concerned about buying a small bike to re-learn on (usually re-sale value and I'd outgrow it so fast I'd...), I'd love for you to share your thoughts on that.
Oh, and we need a few pics of your Bolt to admire.
Mike
Spring will be here soon enough, but for now, you have a massive community with posts going back over 10 years to read and a massive website outside of the community to keep you occupied.
Enjoy!

Welcome to our world.
The pacific north west is almost as good as the pacific south west.
