1981 honda cb900 exaust questions

I have a 81honda cb900c,I was told that if I pull baffling,or,cut exaust,I will not experience any issues as far as performance quality,I heard otherwise,is this true,,,,all stock parts as well.

It will affect the performance.

Changing exhaust back pressure will change the mixture. You'd have to re-jet the carbs.
