Year 1......several thousand dollars. I bought a new one. The only sweet deal I have found on anything was my latest helmet. I bought it at the bike show.

You are fortunate to have found a sweet deal.

I once bought a 1970 Triumph Bonnie, that had no compression, from a guy for $100. I already had a set of pistons so I rebuilt the upper end, adjusted the points, set the timing, and adjusted the carbs. I then sold the bike for $750 in less then two weeks.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

$250 for mine last year. Carb kits, battery, headlight, and a service totaling about $530. My entire grand total for motorcycle stuff, including fuel and the bike itself, is $1698.83 since the first piece of gear I got last June.

The best deal was the Fantic that I won in a poker game in the service. It wasn't running and the guy owed me $100. I pulled off the side cover and tightened the magneto and it fired right up. 2nd best was the RD-400, When i walked up to it it had a moped windsheild and a bicycle basket on the back. I'm thinking this guy has no clue what this bike is. He didn't and i got it for $700.

Very Similar to this one.
It's the same Model I used to ride in 1991 as a Medical Courier in Melbourne Aust.

It needs new tyres so I found an Importer who will sell me a brand new set for $120 delivered!
