BMW F 800 ST vs. Honda VFR 800 Interceptor

#1 Unread post by vbl »

Thoughts? I'm in the market for a zippy sport tourer. Both have ABS available, both are similar in price.

Most of my riding will be around town at 30-50 mph, and on the open highway during my commute.

Thanks!

I have a VFR (parked in the official TMW bike-hibernating bike spot at the moment) and I am going to try to get a test ride on the new BMW this spring. The VFRs are reasonably comfy but my old '96 is relatively gutless and lacking soul. I picked it up on impulse as a sport-tourer but I have had many more exciting bikes. The Beemer seems to feel a lot more comfortable as well.
Try to arrange a test ride before you buy. If you can't, I would go for the beemer.
