ninja 250

Just picked one up real cheap, its an '02 with 10k. I understand the design hasnt changed much and i was wandering what mods and such have you other 250r owners/ past owners performed or heard of. Appreciate the input peeps :wink:

do you plan to keep that bike?

if not then save your money and spend it on your next bike.

anyway... most of the modded ninjettes i've seen are just cosmetic mods or louder horns, brighter lights etc.

i did see a girl w/ a ninja500 w/ AM pipes. im sure there are some for the 250 as well. but like i said, unless you wanna keep that bike, then don't bother.

Take a read through the articles, they have outlined pretty much every upgrade available and the options. The most common upgrades seem to be the suspension, tires, and exhaust system.

have you guys ever seen those professional lumberjacks with those giant exhaust headers they have on their chainsaws?

I *think* he's trying to say it's silly to do extensive mods on a Ninja 250. I also think he's trying to say that a Ninja is basically a chainsaw?

You'll quickly learn to ignore MotoF150, Marauder. I agree that you shouldn't sink any significant money into this bike, but I'm sure there are some low- or no-cost things you can do to improve it a bit.
