Honda VT600 - How slow is slow? Opinions?

Honda VT600 - How slow is slow? Opinions?

I'm 61 and just started riding again after 25 yrs. Bought a 2005 Honda Rebel 250C this summer and put 1600 mi. on it. Now I have a 2004 Honda Shadow VT600. I've read that it's slow but in what respect? I don't expect to be racing anybody on the highway. Comments?

Spouse Thingy is quite happy with his... he has no complaints, and for the most part can keep up with my SV650 as long as I don't engage in any jackrabbit starts.
