I would pick the C50 over the M50 its more comfortable, BUT::::: don't expect either bike to be powerful enough to keep up with other bikes its size, its faster than the Honda 750 and the Yamaha 650, but its slower than the Kawasaki Vulcan 800. AND: I suggest and its my opnion if you want a do anything type of bike the Suzuki M and C50 falls short, Its a great bike for short trips around town and about 40 miles from home, but if ur planning on making a long trip on a 4 lane hyway at 65, 70 mph that bike CAN'T handle it. Plan and think about ur riding style, where ur going to ride it at and to, how many miles ur planning then buy a bike that matches that. ALL the small and mid size cruiser bikes are made for casual, low speed, short trips, personally I ride with bigger bikes and my M50 can't keep up, when they pass a car on a hill they can do it, I can't cause I don't have the engine power. Another thing the resale value is bad on these bikes, my M50 is only a year old and its only worth $2700, im selling it privately and asking $5K, nobody wants it, best offer was $3600.

Dude you just got a bad one. You have to admit that your bike is one good looking machine. For my taste it's one of the best looking cruisers out there and honestly if I didn't have a thing about bikes over 500lbs there's a 100% chance that that is what I'd be riding. My opinion it's just beautiful and I still look at them everytime I go to the suzuki dealer. I just wish they would fix your bike.
