Scorpion 700?

Anyone have anything to say about this helmet? I've read the reviews on the motorcycle gear review site and they all say it's noisy but, in reading Shoei reviews of the X-11, Z-II, and RF-1000 they all say that it's a noisy helmet as well.

So I'm kind of disregarding that part. Everything else seemed fine about the EXO. And it doesn't flip open at high speeds like an HJC does.

So does anyone own one? Have any comments?

No personal experience but in the "too hard helmet" article that Motor Cyclist magazine did that was one of the hardest helmets that they tested. Pushed almost 300g's on the noggin in a crash.

Yah I really need to subscribe to some of those magazines..

Know anything about Shoei's YZR? They seem fairly decently priced but I can't find a review anywhere about them.

You mean the TZR? I don't think they make a YZR. Uhh, I've not heard anything about it. I think it's just an X-11 without some of the fancy venting and such, but don't quote me on that.
