I have to replace the pipes on my bike, Vulcan Classic 800. They've got some rust and are really quiet. The more I ride out in traffic the more I realize that people need to hear me coming. What do I need to look for and what is the diffrence between brands?
Any advice would be helpful!
Need help choosing new exhaust

That's the feeling I got over at the motorcycle shop, but I wanted to make sure that it wasen't a bias opinion. I already joined VROC as suggested in my Blog. I think i'll check in over there and see if there is any info on it, also what to expect upon installation like the jet packs and such.
Thanks for the info.

If you're not upgrading the intake at all, then rejetting will not be necessary.Sweet Tooth wrote:also what to expect upon installation like the jet packs and such.
As far as installation goes, be sure to purchase two new crush gaskets (you can't reuse the old ones). The Cobra PowerPro I bought went on without a hitch, and I hear the V&H's usually fit up pretty well, too.
