I have never heard of these bags. How about a link or a photo?

Hi Scott,

Very cool bike. I love the looks and I am thinking of buying one.

Which bags did you get (the SB802's) ? Do you need the Suzuki supports (990A0-75017) with those Willie & Max bags ?

Which windscreen are you looking at ? I was looking at the NationalCycle N2568 -- let me know what you think ...

Can you recommend a passenger floorboard brand for the S50?

Also, Is your "backrest set" a Suzuki 46200-38871 ?

Is the stock seat ok, or should I look at a Corbin immediately ?

TIA

DON

I haven't purchased the bags yet. I ran into a delima with the shield and it seems what i want I'm not going to be able to get. still working on that part and will probably get something cheap off ebay to do a mock up before I spend big bucks on the one I want (Givi A760) and do the fabrication. The back rest is the oem suzuki one so whatever that part number is (not sure). I haven't considered floorboards, so unless suzuki has a set that will fit OEM you may have to do a search. The seat is acceptable for me and is narrow, but I only weigh 140lbs you may want to look at corbin or mustang. i did set the shocks on a lower setting for comfort as i found the middle setting to be a bit stiff over railroad tracks and what not. i really like the bike overall. Very light and very quick. It's just that my tastes vary a bit from the standard cruiser fair on some items and am having a hard time finding things. Other then that it's been a great bike so far and I've got about 1200 miles on it.

I bought a set of Willie and Max Braided bags off of WhyteGryphon after he put many thousands of miles hard use on them, and I have a few thousand miles with them myself. They are in perfect shape still, and surprisingly water-resistant.

I hate the look of any saddlebag, but I have to admit.... they are very handy to have on the bike anytime I'm more than a hundred miles or so from home.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:
