CALGARY, AB (December 28, 2016) - The 2017 Motorcycle Show – Calgary presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance kicks off the new year. The Show takes place at the BMO Centre and runs from noon on Friday, January 6th until 5:00 Sunday, January 8th. This is the only opportunity to check out all the new models of motorcycles, ATVs, scooters and side-by-sides from the biggest names in the industry, before they hit the showroom floor.
BMW will be showcasing the G310R, the first product offering in the sub-500 cc category. It is ultra-modern, light and extremely economical 313cc single-cylinder Roadster with superb handling and ergonomics. The R nineT Scrambler is tough, unconventional, and against established standards, it empowers you to do your own thing. The R1200GS range continues to evolve with a new Rallye and Exclusive versions. There are changes in design as well as technically with new Ride Mode Pro options, “Next Generation” Dynamic ESA with a fully automatic self-leveling suspension function.
The 2017 Honda CBR1000RR takes Total Control to the next level with over 90% of the major components being new. The focus has always been power to weight, with the focus on handling, cornering and acceleration. This year Honda is featuring the all-new Rebel 300 and 500. These progressive custom bobbers fuse tradition with groundbreaking new ideas. They are a mix of old and new school style and are engaging and fun to ride. The CRF250 RALLY is ready for weekend adventure, long distance touring as well as daily commuting.
The all-new Bonneville Bobber is the latest edition to the Triumph line-up. It perfectly encapsulates the minimalist styling principles, muscular stance and purposeful engineering attitude of a genuine bobber. The Street Scrambler shares the same contemporary custom styling as the Street Twin and the iconic Bonneville silhouette combined with clean lines, minimal bodywork and modern finishes.
KTM is introducing the 300 XC-W at this years Show. The combination of massive 2-stroke performance, unrivaled torque and a super agile chassis make it the first choice when the going gets really difficult. The 125 Duck is up to date with the finest motorcycle technologies, usually reserved for larger capacities. The refined four-stroke single cylinder with fuel injection and six-speed transmission provides more than adequate propulsion.
Yamaha has got you covered whether on the road or on the dirt, with their new FZ-09, YZF-R6, and SCR950 releases for 2017. The FZ-09 is a naked sports roadster with ABS brakes and all new super aggressive “twin eye” LED headlights and a revised fully adjustable 41mm inverted fork. The SCR950 is for riders who are looking for a rugged vintage design but want the reliability of today’s motorcycles. Its distinct scrambler style, modern technology, and pulsating 942 cc V-twin, blurs the line between past and present. Finally the YZF-R6 with performance enhancements including 6-mode traction control system, improved front suspension and brakes, aluminum fuel tank, slimmer magnesium rear subframe, and optional Quick Shift System.

The 2017 Roadmaster is the ultimate luxury-touring bike built for comfort, with its 2-up seat and adjustable passenger floorboards. It is outfitted with some great ergonomic innovations for both the rider and passenger.
Victory’s new Magnum features a 21 inch front wheel – the biggest wheel ever fit to a product bagger and LED headlight and high performance audio. It is available in new muscle colors that are sure to demand attention. And it’s powered by the air-cooled, 106 cubic inch Freedom V-twin with a 6-speed transmission and belt final drive.
