FOOD!!!

#1 Unread post by dr_bar »

Mmmmm, a topic got briefly hijacked into the realm of food...

I think food needs it's own topic. It can be about your favourite dish, or something you like to pack for that road trip, maybe just some comfort food. Hmmm comfort food, mom's homemade perogies....

I am a fan of the steak...on the BBQ....with fried mushrooms and onions.... medium rare....a bit o pink in the center and your good to go.... match that with a loaded baked potato (sour cream, butter, chives, salt and pepper...) and youve got all the fixins for a great dinner and a not so great cholesterol level..... screw it, Im dying with a belly full of good food and a heart full of bad stuff..... although my theory on clogged arteries is the following.... makes the heart pump harder to get the blood through the arteries, makes the heart stronger...stronger is gooder!

For mr. svwolf...

Bologna is nothing like a dry sausage, it's more along the lines of Mortadella.

For your info, Mortadella originated in Bologna.

There is also a product very much like it in GB I believe it's called Polony.

I love good Italian pasta, it would have to be my favorite. No red sauce, though, only white.

And Chimichangas are simply awesome. It's rare I find something that good.

I HATE cooking food. It's my job :frusty:

That being said, I can cook most "regular" things fairly well. If you can find it in a typical diner menu (or some place like the 99 or Applebee's) odds are I can cook it well.

In my book nothing will ever beat a nice steaming plate of meat loaf, mashed potatoes, and green peas... Toss in some salt, pepper, and butter and you've got yourself THE perfect meal!
