Dude, Elvis isn't being held in Area 51... he's working as a grocery bagger at a food store in Alabama.

"Another U.S. official told CNN that bin Laden has already been buried at sea. The official said his body was handled in the Islamic tradition, but did not elaborate." http://edition.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiap ... aden.raid/

Er, Islamic graves should be aligned facing Mecca, so what's with the whole buried at sea bull?

Islamic tradition also calls for a quick burial, so doing it at sea doesn't violate any of their beliefs. Not only that, but to bury him on land would allow him to become a martyr and his gravesite a shrine - and that's not a good idea.

Good point. And it's fair to assume that most nearby countries wouldn't have allowed him to be buried within their borders as well.

When I heard the news I had to think, which one did they get????? I seem to remember that there were a few video's that were suppose to have been released by him which were "questionable" ie, the fella in the vid looked like a rather younger version of the man. As for the burial at sea, a wee bit too convenient, I would of figured they would of dragged the body about for photo ops and lots of DNA testing....ah well......he probably served his purpose and it was time for him to go.......
Always ask why.

I was wondering what you lot would say about this. Whilst I can never agree with summary execution as was reported by a double tap to the head, the world is better off without him.

He's just saying. It's also:

2nd May 2003 : Jayson Blair resigns from The New York Times following the blatent plagiarism of an article written by San Antonio Express-News reporter Macarena Hernandez

2nd May 1982 : The General Belgrano in the Argentine navy is struck by two Tigerfish torpedoes from HMS Conqueror and sunk.

2nd May 1980 : It was announced that current unemployment figures are now 7% of the workforce which is the highest since the recession in 1976 / 1977, and in some areas of the country, in Michigan for example the rate is now 12% and which can be described as a labor market recession .

2nd May 1971 : Anti War demonstrators in the Capitol were foiled by mass arrests from flying squads of police using tear gas and batons to break up large crowds of protesters and arrested over 6000 protesters who were trying to stop traffic flowing in the capitol

2nd May 1952 : The worlds first commercial Jet Airliner a De Havilland Comet with 36 passengers paying up to £315 for a return ticket took off from London for Johannesburg, this will cut up to a third of the time from traditional aircraft flight times.

2nd May 1946 : Alcatraz convicts fought a raging gun battle with guards at the rock for their freedom after they seized the guns from the armory and passed them out to fellow prisoners

2nd May 1945 : Russia announced the fall of Berlin and the capture of 70,000 Germans who had surrendered.

2nd May 1933 : A local Inverness newspaper "The Inverness Courier" publishes an account by a local couple who claimed to have seen "an enormous animal rolling and plunging on the surface." of Loch Ness.

2nd May 1930 : President Hoover in a speech said that the stock market crash of last year was just a temporary setback and would soon pass and that the economy would soon bounce back
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.
