one down and only 117,406 complete-nutters-in-powerful-places left to go!

Score one for humanity(?)

Did they land the space shuttle on his head loaded with explosives as a fairwell mission?

That'd be pure justice.

It's on the same day as the 2003 Mission Accomplished campaign and at the start of Obama's 2012 election campaign. How convenient.

It seems very odd that (if reports true) he has been buried at sea. Surely it must have been obvious that the world would have expected some independent proof?

I also hope the the US + citizens keep this it perpsective as every country has "dirty hands".
I am thinking in particular of the many years of fundraising in the US re Ireland's struggles.

It is unfortunate that he will not now go before an international court of law. The cynic in me thinks that is probably convenient for more than one government.

Let's hope that Osama in martyrdom is not worse than Osama in Pakistan. And what happens to Pakistan now that it is obvious that they were letting him hide out? This could get a lot uglier before it gets any better. I certainly hope not, but we will soon see.

One thing I could never really figure was how it took 10+ years to find 1 person with the entire US ARMY, intelligence and NATO looking for him. But yet, they can find anyone else in less than a day.

Ie. They found Saddam and Qadaffi in a month.

Buried at sea? Please please let that not be true. Don't we have enough conspiracy people with the so called "truthers" out there? Well, at least this will give each political party a good conspiracy theory.
