I don't have an answer to your question, but I would like to welcome you to Total Motorcycle. Check back in a day or two and someone will likely have some good tips to help you.

Hello Willie and welcome to the forum. You most likely need to clean your carbs. Instructions are in your service manual.

May I ask what makes you think that the front cylinder is running lean.

Does your bike have one carb or two?

Have you modified your exhaust?

+1 to John also if its a plug issue that makes you think your running lean on 1 cyl like its whiter and caked before you go crazy, check for air leaks as they are the main culprit for running extremely lean.

if you have a cv check your diaphram but a single carb v twin it's usually an air leak or valve adjustment issue or both
Hope this helps
there aint nothin like it

Thanks for your input, I'm not that handy with motors. But this
Is what makes me think it is runing lean. I front cylinder won't
Run until I pull the back spark plug open the choke and turn
The throttle about a 1/4 turn. And then it spuders a lot
