Got the front wheel back today. It's got a polished hub, new bearings, new spokes, chromed rim, new tape, tube and rubber.

The forks look and feal good. New oil and dust seals. Gloss black legs and brake stay.

Tin ware is all in gloss black, including a "cheese cutter" licence plate, soon to have the registartion "NUT 5".

Tank knee rubbers, of course. Low rise bars (2"?), and fat grips.

The old fashioned rear light bracket looks the business.

A $5 can of aluminum Tremclad and a handful of coated allen bolts does wonders. If I did all the 10 and 12mm bolts, I could reduce my on-board tool kit substantially...

The Mac exhaust sounds good and has made some modest improvements to to performance.

Still need a few transfers

"Four star petrol only"
"Min oil level"

The proof, was when the grease monkey at the boneyard walks up and says, "What year is that BSA?" Uh, that would be a 78 Honda CB400 BSA.

When I figure out how to post pics...
