I've never owned one myself, but from what I've heard is they are good bikes without many issues and competitively priced. It would still be nice to see them a little lower in MSRP but bringing them into the country, meeting regulations, etc isn't free.

Quality wise, I think they would be around what KIA and Hyundai were like in the 2000's. Hyosung has a bright future ahead if it can just keep innovating like they are doing, not getting ahead of themselves and keeping the costs down while quality improves.

Which Hyosung are you most interested in?

Yeah they're made in South Korea.
They are a 50/50 shot. Their fit and finish is ridiculously bad on almost every single one I've ever seen. Their suspension also needs a lot of work. It's about 1970s technology in there.
However I know they make the SV650 motor for Suzuki, have stolen the design and honestly improved it a bit. Their GT650 motor makes about 10 more HP and 10 more ft/lbs than the SV650 does.

well, i had a 08 or 07 250 can't remember, liked the milage 67-84 mpg kept it a yr. it started dieing on me when i was stopped. after 3rd time i took it to b'ham and was going to have to leave so i traded for a yamaha tmax 500. so i never did know what was wrong. now i just got a harley 1200 custom. no more scooters for me no more panels to take off. i'm 75.

I have to agree with the engine, those are very good engine in there. Fit and finish new seem ok, here is a 2003 Hyosung with 37,000 miles I just saw for sale and it looks like it held up well, even considering it a learner too.
