The instructor thing is a real issue in my opinion. I have had several great instructors and some doing it for the money. The lack of passion was very clear. I don't expect all instructors to be great teachers but I do expect they all want to be there for passing on the knowledge.
They do have evals but don't know what it takes for the lack of passion to create any change. I don't mean fired them, just more motivated.
