It would be good for those of limited mobility in the same way as the trike configured Harleys and GoldWings.
You're still putting your body out in the wind and all the happy that brings.

But it has the disadvantage of running wheels over more of the road surface than either a car or a motorcycle so avoiding roadkill and road debris would be difficult. (can't straddle objects)

I'm sure Consumer Reports would approve because it won't fall over.

I don't hate them, but they combine the disadvantages of a bike with the disadvantages of a car, with none of the advantages of either. If I wanted the wind in your hair feeling but was unable to operate a two-wheeler, I'd rather just accept that fact and get a roadster like a Miata.

I like the touring model. It has more leg room and plenty of cargo space. I think it would be great for a long journey.

The Spyder seems edgy and fun, I can absolutely understand the appeal for someone who either can't bring themselves to ride a motorcycle or is suffering some sort of physical disability that prevents them from doing the same.

At the same time though, it is hard to understand choosing the Spyder over a little convertible roadster.

Aesthetically the Spyder is a solid win for me though. It just looks awesome.

I was thinking about it, but then I grew a pair and got on a motorcycle.

They don't really appeal to me, but I've never ridden one so I don't know if I'd like it. I like seeing them on the road though. It means someone is out having fun doing something a little different.

Sure, a new rider could handle the Can-Am Spyder, but I wouldn’t recommend it to just anyone. And I sure wouldn’t bet my life on it by riding as a passenger with someone who wasn’t already an accomplished biker.
