Biker event to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation

Thousands of people are expected to head to Lake Pleasant May 5-8, to participate in the inaugural Cycle De Mayo festival that benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Spearheaded by producers Andrew Wise and Nino Albanese of Albanese & Wise Promotions LLC, Cycle De Mayo will feature live Hispanic music, dancers, a "Soft Tail Biker Fashion Show," motorcycle stunt teams, party boats and fireworks.

Among the activities will be a $1 million Texas Hold'em Charity Tournament. Participants will choose entry-level options in order to be part of the poker tournament scheduled for May 7 at 5 p.m.

Proceeds from the entire Cycle De Mayo Event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a Phoenix-based charity that works to fulfill the wishes of terminally ill children.
