Got my bike back from the shop today. New front tyre, rebuilt front suspension, new steering head bearings, tune up, oil change, and check up...she is good to go and I put on a good 120K's today. Here are a few pictures.

When I bought it, note the big arsed ugly fairing and next to useless back bin:

And how she looks today...cleaner, sleeker, faster...just as she was meant to be:

Sadly, it was missing the right side cover and the only one I have found so far is a black one off an '83 Sabre, it doesn't make the colour scheme, but it fits and will protect the battery from the elements.

Front turn signals are on order and should be in and installed sometime next week.

Always ask why.

Went out for a little 60 km spin after work today. I looked down and saw the odometer at 6999 km, so I pulled over and grabbed a shot of the bike at exactly 7000 km, because, uh, well for no reason I guess. :)

Anyway, the 7000 km shot from just outside of Rattlesnake Dam:

Yeah, you can't see the dam or anything. That would have meant a 7004 km photo and that just doesn't have the same meaning.

Hehe, nice one.
I'm starting a petition to cull narrowminded dull people - be afraid Peter, be very afraid....
