In Washington we have 3 years to file a claim and can file for extensions if the recovery isn't 100% by that time. Right now I'm about 80% recovered and got 2 and half years to go before I have to file.
I haven't hired a lawyer yet, not sure if I am going to. I'm figuring 3 times my medical bills should cover everything. 1 to cover my current bills, 2 to cover potential future bills and 3 to cover pain and suffering. If the insurance company wont work with that then I'll probably hire an attorney. I think thats a reasonable expectation.
Anyone have any advice on this subject?

Haha, I almost spit my drink out all over my monitor when I read this.. Thanks for the laugh, I needed it after fighting a bunch of crazies in the mall tonight doing x-mas shopping. Almost got in two accidents tonight with all the bad driving out there. Was just happy to get home.flynrider wrote:Hmmm. Not sure if I fully understand this one. Does this apply if only one of the drivers is gay, or do they both have to be.ofblong wrote: Here in Michigan we have gay no fault insurance which means it doesnt matter who is at fault each person involved has to pay.
