My Favorite Pennsylvania Roads

#1 Unread post by RockBottom »

Having put in 6400 miles in my first five months of riding, I've come up with a collection of my favorite stretches of PA roads:

641 from Shade Gap to Newville
944 from Carlisle Springs to McCrea
997 from McCrea to the Maryland line
233 from Dickinson to Mont Alto
174 from Boiling Springs to Walnut Bottom
274 from Doylesburg to Blain
26 from Huntingdon to State College
147 from Halifax to Sunbury
325 from Dauphin to Tower City
234 from its intersection with Route 30 to East Berlin

All are gorgeous.

It's a bit to the north of you, but if you get a chance, check out 144 from Snowshoe to Renovo. 35 miles of what's got to be some of the most isolated road in the northeast.
