Anyone rent a bike for vacation at another U.S. city?

I'm thinking of a summer vacation flying to Vegas and renting a bike.

1. Do any rental services have a bike pickup and dripoff at the airport?

2. If so what was your rental cost, type of bikes offered and experence?

3. Any road serviced offered and how much extra?

3. What U.S. cities have you done this at?

I rented a Harley in San Diego a couple of years ago from eaglerider.com and it was a great experience. I taxied there from the conference that I was at down town, and I don't know of any airport transfers that they do. The bike was in top shape (even though it had quite a few miles on it), and they really were excellent to do business with. I understand that they are all privately owned so I can't speak for their other locations but in San Diego at least I would highly recommend them.

Cheers,

We rented from Eagle Rider in Palm Springs in February. Great places to ride with the mountain roads toward San Diego and LA. That particular franchise wasn't exceptional, but acceptable. The staff was great, but the bikes weren't in top shape. No break downs, just idle probs and a few saddlebag lock issues. Ended up being about $600 per bike for 4 days with insurance. Worth it, though. We had a GREAT time.
Vegas will be roasting in the summer! Stay hydrated!
