The # 1 thing to take

#1 Unread post by Ladymx »

What are the Top things you take when you go traveling on your ride?

Food and water seem to be common, what else do you take along?

I try to take :toiletpaper: as well as some minor tools

Humm, well tools, food and drink would be #1 on my list.

If the weather looks like it is going to rain, rain gear is a BIG plus as riding in the rain without it isn't all that fun! I strap it down on my passenger seat with another indespensible item... Bungie straps!

Mike.

Cash card and mobile phone.

oh, and the girlfriend! :)
Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

My can opener has been used by other bikers more than I have. It like alot of people pack the cans and forget the opener. :D
Many say live to ride, I say ride is to live.

And the corollary: I usually take the things I think I'll need, and don't; and later remember the things I didn't think I'd need, and do.

the #1 thing is not physical but metaphysical... like a good attitude. take it everywhere and everything works out... even the seemingly impossible becomes improbable and then all of a sudden it just happens. serendipidty doooo. the more "stuff" you bring is just more baggage which you havent left behind. i've seen lots of people overloaded on trips.

one should aspire to ride naked ;-)
