I used to belong. I got tired of the excessive speeding and getting left behind so I quit.

Not anymore. I don't know anyone else who likes to ride like I do.

When I ride alone, I am the only one aware of my total lack of motorcycle skills, thus I try not to ride in groups to forestall the ridicule and humiliation.

Truthfully, I mostly ride to have some personal time to decompress. I greatly enjoy my time alone on my motorcycle, but I don't wish everyone to think that I am a selfish, anti-social, motorcycle bastrd, even if I am.

Safe Travels,
Richard

Oh nothing fancy I just like to go out for a few days at a time. I carry camping gear and stop in the desert or forest for the night. Most of the people I know want more creature comforts.

You must be retired. Once I retire I want to try that kind of thing....I'll have the time then. I sometimes go car camping...but want to experience bike camping.

My friend has a tent trailer that he tows. That's about as much creature comfort he has.

Yes I’m retired but this is the style of riding I’ve been pursuing for the last 35 years. When I was working I just planned my adventures around weekends and vacations. My friend and riding partner, Pat, and I rode all over the western states camping out and roughing it. We would sleep in the dirt for two days then get a hotel room to clean up; great fun and cheap that way. Unfortunately I lost my friend a few years back so I continue on alone.
