Unobtainium - what are you trusting for???
Here we are in what feels like the depths of winter (actually it doesn't even start for a couple of more days), and my thoughts are turning to bikes that I would like to have or build. While there is endless new cool bikes to lust after, a few of these old ones would be a blast if I could find a way to get them across the pond and had room in the garage.....
First off - The CB1100R. I had a poster of this one in my room at 13 years old. How could Honda make such a sweet bike and not bring it to Canada?????
Second - The Honda CBX 750! It what they got across the pond when we got the excellent-for-the-day Nighthawk S. An air-cooled inline 4 alternative to the Interceptor of the day. It looks cool - especially if I could have the only one in the country....
So what about the rest of you? Am I the only one that has a sick fetish for old bikes?????

An R90/S...wait I have an R90/6 in the shed.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

I want a 1989 Suzuki GSX-R 750RR LE which can be race prepped in a few minutes. Was only for the Japanese market. For a boxy bike it was helluva sexy, and it came with radial tires!

I think we need to start a OBA club.... (Old Bikes Anonymous) as I have the old bike bug too.
Right now, on my desktop background (and Andrea can verify this) for the past month has been the photo below... It's pretty much unobtanium, made only in 1983, it's the Honda CB1100F.
Vrooom, Vroom...

This one is always on my list. There is one for sale in Red Deer right now for the low low price of $5500! He will likely get it too....totalmotorcycle wrote:I think we need to start a OBA club.... (Old Bikes Anonymous) as I have the old bike bug too.
