2012 Yamaha FZ6R
The FZ6R... easy to handle, big time fun to ride.
The 2012 Yamaha FZ6R has a special ambience that makes you feel comfortable the minute you swing a leg over the seat. It is a sports bike that does not make any earth shattering claims; just a bike that will leave you smiling after each and every ride. Perhaps you are just getting started in motorcycling or have been around long enough to recognize that fun is not always determined by engine size or horsepower.
Somewhere between cruisers and supersport bikes exists a genre simply known as "sports" bikes.
The FZ6R fits perfectly into the less intense sport bike world with its easy to control power, light weight and low seat height. A slim compact chassis complements the fuel injected engine and its very linear throttle control. No lap records here, just a bike that inspires rider confidence and is a blast to ride.
Innovative FZ6R features like adjustable seat height make it easy for beginning riders to get started.
The 2012 Yamaha FZ6R offer features that make it easy for beginning riders to get started: a low seat height, grips that reach back to you, and a torquey, 600cc engine you won't outgrow anytime soon. Re: This Week - 2012 Yamaha FZ6R: Vote & Discuss
I voted: Cool
This is an excellent first sport bike, not necessarily a good first bike...but a great bike to take the first step down the sporty path on once you get the basics of riding down...a friend of mine bought one for his wife as her second bike, but he says he likes to ride it as much as she does. He says it's comfortable and a great sporty commuter bike...he rides a VFR800 and says he does prefer his bike, but only because of the extra power...great bike.
Later.

I voted cool.
I like the riding position, as it would seem more comfortable to ride many miles than a full race bike.

Re: This Week - 2012 Yamaha FZ6R: Vote & Discuss
I LOVE this bike... so naturally voted AWESOME.
I'm a big fan of inline fours and like the fact that this is small enough to suit less experienced riders but big enough to suit experienced riders who don't want a massive engine. The upright riding position and somewhat comfortable seat make it a great option for an every day rider. It also has killer looks (you should see it in person ) and is just overall, very appealing.
Awesome all the way!

Practical, a comfortable riding position, reasonably good looking, with a sensible price to boot. That deserves a cool vote.

Yup, as Grey Thumper said about, plus I'll bump it up one notch to AWESOME beause of the price, it's an awesome price point to get into sportbike riding but yet have a comfortable bike too.Grey Thumper wrote:Practical, a comfortable riding position, (reasonably) good looking, with a sensible price to boot. I'd like to see Kawasaki revamp there ZZR600 and Honda to bring out a mild sportbike model as well. As for Suzuki, it would be nice to see their GSR750F brought to North America.
We need more 600-750cc bikes! ... and where did all the standards go!?!?!
