With the release of all the new 2013 Yamaha Motorcycle Models last night (now up on Total Motorcycle here: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/motorcyc ... Yamaha.htm ) one of the new models by Yamaha for 2013 is the 2013 Yamaha V-Star 1300 Deluxe. I choose this model not only because it was brand new but because it seems to look quite Harley-Davidson-like and not a lot Yamaha like and thought it might made a good discussion.

What do you think? Would you go for a 2013 Yamaha V-Star 1300 Deluxe for $6000 cheaper than a Harley-Davidson Street Glide?

Interesting stuff... or maybe I'm just crazy in thinking they look somewhat simular...

This barely made the "Cool" grade in my mind. As much as I like the bike, the Fairing doesnt work for me. No offence intended, but it looks like they went to the Harley parts bin for it. If I wanted a Harley fairing there is a whole selection of them out there to buy. Why not make it look like a Yamaha instead, be original.

Other companies really need to give up trying to clone Harley Davidson. I voted fail.

I voted uncool. It's basically a stripped down version of the Star Venture, in my opinion.
As far as taking it over an HD Streetglide, I'll pay the extra for the HD.

This is so not my style, I really can't see the appeal of this bike at all. And like everyone says, quit trying to copy a H-D!!!

Sorry, it's a fail for me. :(
