2013 MV Agusta Brutale 800
A motorcycle capable of satisfying the most demanding of motorcycle enthusiasts.
The new 800 engine offers increased power, torque and riding dynamics for the naked MV Agusta. The new adjustable suspension and the new advanced electronics package makes the Brutale 800 leader in its segment. Graphics and special colours accentuate the unmistakably lines of MV Agusta.
Brutale three-cylinder means handling, extreme agility, and absolute ease of use. Now with the new engine power and torque comparable to a 1.000cc, and with a weight of only 167 kg, the 800 Brutale offers an unique power to weight ratio. Aside from the new engine, the Brutale 800 offers a new adjustable suspension allowing the riders complete personalisation.
A dependable advanced electronics package unique within this category: MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System), the integrated management system of the vehicle, includes the first Full Ride by Wire with multi-map and integrated traction control. Offering optimised delivery at all engine speeds, maximum engine efficiency in terms of fuel consumption, and of course the opportunity to select different engine characteristics, choosing from the four available maps: three pre-sets, one personalised. Traction control also ensures safety and performance on any road or track surface, allowing the driver to concentrate entirely on riding. The three-cylinder engine, which debuted on the supersport F3 675, forms the basis for the technological progress in its class, thanks to exclusive technical solutions such as the counter-rotating crankshaft, used in MotoGP, but never before seen on a production bike. The frame performance is guaranteed, thanks to MV Agusta’ s unique mixed structure: the front section of steel tube trellis combined with two light aluminium alloy plates, and a sculpted single-arm rear suspension.
Brutale 800 joins Brutale 675 with its increased performance, dynamics and untouchable MV Agusta style.

Ok, here we go (yet again, can you believe it?) our 9th in-a-row, never-seen-before Cool Wall bike now up!
No pricing yet for the USA (the bike was JUST announcned this morning). But it seems it will be available in the USA from media information I have about it. I would guess around $17k for a price. Hopefully less.
Mike

That gets an AWESOME vote from me!!
Just looks wicked...love the F3 inspired exhaust and the look of the bike is chizelled naked...even though I'm looking for a touring bike and am quite happy with my naked bike, this might have got my attention more than my MT-01.
Later.

Wow, didn't they just announce the Brutale 675 a coupla months ago? I guess MV are matching Ducati's Monsters, tier by tier.

I vote Dead Sexy.....or awesome if I must.
I fell in love with the Brutale in 2005 when I was at Laguna Seca for the GP and I saw my first (modern)example of an MV. It was just like this one \/ and I would have imported one to Canada if I could have figured out how at the time (they have only been available here for just over a year now). Let's hope the fueling is sorted better than the new F3. Awesome machines - but maybe only slightly starting to look dated...

OMG - no contest - this bike is AWESOME and then some! This bike is one of the very rare ones on the cool wall that deserves a higher category than Awesome. I'll go with High_Side on this one... Dead Sexy!
I am so in love with the Brutale line and hopefully one day I will own one. And if I go for a 2013 I would be buying the white & blue one. I can't stop staring and drooling!!!

I'll second (third? tertiate?) the two posts above -- Dead Sexy. This is the first crotch rocket I've seen here that really looks 'original' compared to the rest. Just beautiful. Still not the bike for me, but I'd sure love to borrow one for a weekend.
But, I'll bet that if you can get panniers for it they'll still look like WalMart tool boxes. (-:

Re: This Week - 2013 MV Agusta Brutale 800: Vote & Discuss
I voted awesome. I almost bought a 910 Brutale when I bought the Hypermotard. I'm not sure exactly what swayed me away from it but one of the things that did turn me off was the horrible mileage of about 25 mpg according to the bike rags. I don't know about the triple but the Inline-4 Brutale has one of the most intoxicating sounding exhausts ever. In tems of looks, the Brutale of any incarnation is one of the best looking bikes ever made.

The White/Blue Pearl one is stunning, but what's up with the Italian tri-colore on the side; it totally clashes with the gorgeous blue pearl.sunshine229 wrote:OMG - no contest - this bike is AWESOME and then some!
