I do know forsure that Yamaha does read the forums and keeps close eye on Total Motorcycle, but I doubt they'd push the Awesome button over 100 times for this particular model.

It's either as grundlem7 suggested, a cookie issue, or someone did push it over a hundred times. The way the guest voting is setup you can only vote once per IP. I guess it's quite possible someone posted this thread on their Facebook account and said "everyone vote awesome". Thus, they did.

I was talking it over with Andrea as well about what to do. I even checked Google cache of this page in hopes it took a shot of it for yesterday, but Google shows it was Aug 30th.

Obviously I can't take the vote as-is as it's so stacked in one direction. So should I reset the polls? Take a guestimate or other?

It IS possible that a lot of people actually DO think it is awesome.

There are plenty of noobs and plenty of small people around.

Another tainted vote like the Cyclewerks one? Someone must of gotten a hold of the Karl Rove/Steven Harper How To Screw Over A Vote playbook.
Always ask why.

That is true, and I do allow guest voting. The only "question" I have about it is there is sooooooooooo many votes into the awesome rating, you would think that if there is an 180 extra votes you would get them in other ratings as well (which as of today, didn't happen). Thus because it's dumped into that one rating I am suspect to it as well.

I did a search on Google and Facebook for this topic heading and for the link url (viewtopic.php?f=61&t=48024) as one of the things I hoped for was someone linked it to their page with "Vote Awesome", but I couldn't find anything.

I voted Awesome myself and I know others did too because of what you said, but I do have a hard time believing so many voted awesome for it. I could be wrong and we are looking at the MOST AWESOME #1 bike of 2013 on the Cool Wall here.

I voted cool this time, did previously vote uncool because of the old technology. I still like this bike and it has its own niche.

I voted uncool. While I like seeing a design capable of standing the test of time, I don't like seeing it when the only reason it's standing the test is because they won't update it.

I voted cool because I think it would be an ok bike to start on, but if I knew anybody in the market for a starter bike I would suggest they look at a Ninja 300 or CBR250 first. However, for those who like that sort of thing, that is the sort of thing they like.
