Apex after apex the new Daytona 675 inspires complete confidence. More power, lighter weight, and easier to ride, our engineers ambition was simple: to create the most perfectly balanced motorcycle. The engine is brand new featuring twin injectors per cylinder, titanium valves, a 14,400 red line, and a spine tingling induction roar. It's faster on the track, better on the road and even more satisfying to own.

With twin injectors per cylinder the new Daytona can draw more fuel quicker when you open the throttle fully and demand more from the engine.

A first for a production Triumph, we have now fitted substantially lighter titanium valves to cope better with the higher revs. This also means lighter valve springs can be used, reducing valve train wear and friction.

First it ripped off the CBR600RR almost to the point of it looking identical. It continues to rip off the designs of various different japanese sport bikes. It has no identity anymore and it is mfugly to boot. Fail.

Hyper I am wondering is it the fairing you see to much the same? I ask cause IMO they resemble each other in the way all RR's do. The underslung exhaust, trellace subframe and much cleaner tail section make it stand apart to me and the triple vs the I4 make them worlds apart in power characteristics. Truthfully we think what we think and it's cool either way but I am curious?

I don't think I'd ever get one (or any race rep), but it doesn't matter. Perfect size + perfect engine = awesome. Who needs a literbike when these are around?

They look good, although it's true they do resemble many other SS models. But that is a "function monitors structure" thing I don't think you're gonna escape with this kind of bike. That said, I've only heard horror stories about maintenance on Triumph sport bikes.

And I'm curious to know when is the last time a Triumph won the TT? Anybody know?

They look cool. I'd never get the wife on the back more than once, but that's ok 'cuz I aint buyin' one. But the red line at 14.4K is, I admit, pretty impressive.

Looks awesome and it's unpretentious. Not wild about the mirrors, more "Tokyo Meter Maid" than anything else.

Still, all this for under $12k? I'll give that an Awesome.

I voted: Cool

While sportbikes are not really for me (due to the riding position and the green giant stature I have) I've always really like the unique sportbikes and that's where the Triumph Daytona 675's have come in. 3-cylinder and a really nice 14,400rpm redline... plus a great price. I even like the design of it as it doesn't look like it's a super-transformer. :D

Interestingly to note, the 2014 Triumph Daytona 675 ABS is one of the bikes I'd actually not buy in red but that awesome blue/white combo. :D
