Just a quick note about the price, Victory priced this bike quite aggressively and this is the 2nd lowest priced Victory you can buy, by $500. (with the lowest priced being the Vegas 8-BALL ay $12,499)

Nice bike. I always liked the look of Victory engines. Price is reasonable for a big motored cruiser.

I was going uncool but they priced this right IMHO so I felt I gotta go cool. I am not a cruiser guy but I like the aesthetics of them.

Sorry, but uncool. Does the world really need yet another cookie cutter cruiser?

Sadly Ceemes, it seems (no pun intended) we do. Because when someone builds an edgy cruiser, this happens:

That said, I really like this Vic. I don't care for the bulky front rubber, and I wish this had the sort of fuel economy to make it a viable long-haul touring rig (I realize there's no FE numbers posted, but I'd hang my hat on 35-40), but overall I think it's just modern enough to escape the 'cop bike' look while still classic enough to option up tastefully. I think it's ridiculously overpowered for a bar hopper or boulevard bomber, but that's a common complaint of mine and one that I'm fighting a losing battle against anyway.

Take note - several of Vic's cruisers from a couple years ago were FAR edgier than this, and the phrase "Arlen Ness crap" got thrown around a lot. They were obviously listening as this new Gunner is quite a bit tamed down, and I for one would like to see the naysayers from previous Vic Cool Walls will turn up and give credit where credit is due.

I'm giving this an Awesome, though for what I want in a bike it's really closer to just Cool.

Seems like they have taken the original Vegas and have been working different ways to make it uglier and less cool for several years. It's time for a new bike Victory - stop trying to jump what used to be a nice bike over the shark tank.

Fail.

Not really my genre of motorcycle, but I kind of like it. I compare to its closest competitor, which is probably the H-D Softail Slim. Compared to that bike, I like the looks. And it's almost $3K cheaper than the Harley. You don't get the range of colors the Harley comes in, "suede metallic" is it. As far as the Vic 106 vs. the H-D 103? I have no idea. And no idea about handling, reliability, other performance issues. I'll give it a Cool for looks, I think they got the proportions right.

It's . . . just ok. Not very interesting, but not enough to call it uncool, so cool it is, then.
