No back fender to speak of. You'd catch a ton of water up your backside coming off the rear wheel. Been there, done that, got the wet t-shirt....

You know I was concerned with that when I did the fender eliminater on my CR and it never really made a difference maybe cause when your riding in the rain you get wet anyway :lol:

Yeah I know what you mean. I rode all year last year whenever I could and only got rained on twice and soaked once. I don't care any more.

Depends on how cold it is when it's raining! I've ridden into showers on hot days without raingear on purpose, just to cool off. But when the temps are anything below 70F, you get chilled real fast if you get wet.

I gave it a solid: Cool

It's the UJM really and that's cool as it means a bike for everyone that everyone will like (if not love), it doesn't do anything amazingly well but it will do everything very well. A great competitor in the marketplace. I just wish Yamaha would ditch the double split seat and go with a solid one so you could slide back more if you wanted and it didn't have a "fart hole" In it...lol
