2015 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso 800 Review

2015 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso 800 on http://www.Totalmotorcycle.com

The pure emotions involved in traveling, the feeling of the open road beneath you, the limits that get pushed further every day...

MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800. A name that dates back to the early days of Meccanica Verghera, the company founded on the intuition of Count Domenico Agusta and that is now at the very pinnacle of motorcycling thanks to 75 World Championship titles and an incredible history blended with both mystique and performance.

With the Turismo Veloce (literally Fast Tourer), MV Agusta has reinterpreted the tourer concept in the name of exclusivity, agility, ease of riding and performance.

Unlike all of the heavier and oversized models offered by the competition, MV Agusta has chosen to utilize a compact and powerful 800cc engine.

Turismo Veloce brings back the essence of Granturismo. It does so with its unmistakable lines and styling solutions which provide the practicality that no Grand Tourer can do without. It reiterates the same ideal with an approach to riding which makes the new MV Agusta the ground breaker for a new way of travelling.

The pure emotions involved in traveling, the feeling of the open road beneath you, the limits that get pushed further every day.

A new dimension. A world described by turns and straight stretches, scenery and hairpin bends, asphalt. Unique sensations. And just one name: Turismo Veloce.

MV Agusta forsakes common ground and outlines a new way of understanding touring. Available in dealerships from the beginning of 2015.

Nice looking bike but scary price range for an 800. Not sure how much distance my regular passenger could handle on that pillion either. And it IS a touring bike.

Way too pricey but awesome anyway. Looks sharp, good power. I would not buy one unless I had very deep pockets and price really did not matter. Way too many very good sport tourers out their for much less money. fjr, c14, etc.

I agree on the comments about price, but then a price of a Ferrari does not stop me from drooling. It is not like I will ever own either.

Safe Travels,
Richard

Well. Kudos to MV for keeping it light and under 500lbs. But, when I can get a Triumph Tiger for under $12K US, and a FJ-09 for under $11K? Bad price/value ratio here, MV. Uncool for ridiculously optimistic pricing.

Touring for a solo rider, maybe.

That price is 22,281.12 US Dollars. Even more in Canadian $$.

Too much....

Not only that....they are calling it a tourer...but the luggage is so small. You sure wouldn't be going far or for long with such limited capacity.

About the price, as a little defense to MV Agusta:

Lamborghini Gallardo
MSRP: From $181,900
Horsepower: 543 to 562 HP

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
MSRP: From $58,295
Horsepower: 707 HP

I love both cars and would be super-happy to own either, but the Dodge, even though it's price is more affordable and it's horsepower is greater, doesn't make it a Lamborghini Gallardo. If you want value, get a Hyundai. :D

Sorta like a MV Agusta and any Honda, Yamaha, Triumph etc. You pay for the name, the quality, technology, uniqueness and the design.

Anyone check out the 2015 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso 800 Samsung S5 like display?
