New here, not to riding
Hello all. I just joined the site but have been riding for a little while. I started as a dirt biker in 1999, and have had a street bike since 2009.
Just this summer I added a sport bike (06 CBR600F4i) to the collection (First street bike was a Suzuki Marauder VZ800, a metric V-twin). It's amazing and what I've always wanted and I love it. I've ridden (street) more in the last two months than the last two years. My boyfriend does track days whenever they come up at our local track and wants me to try it, so as soon as I save up for full leathers I would definitely love to try that.
My two dirt bikes are both KTMs, a 200 E/XC and a 125 SX. I'm probably a 90% woods / 10% MX rider. I do enjoy it but really need to work on my skills & conditioning to get more out of it.
So those are my rides. I have a 4x4 pickup and a classic Mustang as well, so my garage is full and my checkbook is empty. Keeping everybody in oil, tires, etc plus random repairs is damn near a full time job!
I'm a drafter/tech writer/graphic designer by trade, 37, divorced ... not sure what else is pertinent around here ... would be nice to chat with some more riders

Hello Charlotte and welcome to the forums. about the only thing you need to do is post some pictures of your bikes. We like pictures of bikes.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Nothing too exciting! Nearly stock, except for the LED lights/under fender kit that the PO put on.

Your forum name is pretty cool. Is there a story behind it?
(Just to be fair, my first bike was grey and had one cylinder. Pretty boring).

Oh, it's kind of funny, I guess. Years ago - I think I was 19 or 20 - some ex boyfriend said "You really think you're a firecracker, doncha?" So I thought, Yeah, I guess I am. And I have 2 KTMs so there you have it.Grey Thumper wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2017 11:02 pm Your forum name is pretty cool. Is there a story behind it?
