It actually doesn't feel heavy when you're on it. I worried about the weight, but you can flick that thing around almost like a light sport bike. It's wicked fun on twisty roads, and is very forgiving of newby-like mistakes. Great gas mileage, it'll go fast... but yeah, ugly and needs to be a couple grand less...

still recovering - back to crutches, then walking with a stick, then running - then hopefully riding again!

Yeah, I guess that was a bit cold but it just has the look of one of those carts that impaired folks use. No offense.

I could be getting mixed up. It might be be old folks that use the carts I'm thinking of.

This one goes 12 mph. It's the sport model.

Actually...not really. In spite of the ability to lock the front wheels at lights and stop signs, being able to lock them is an acquired skill and initially you have to be able to put your feet down.

Even after you get the hang of it, at off-cambered stops if you lock the wheels and don't put your feet down, you have to be seriously quick on the throttle...as soon as you give it gas the wheels unlock, and if you can't get it moving fast, over you go. There's a slight hesitation on initial acceleration--you don't whip off the line terribly fast though you can get up to speed pretty quick--and it's just enough that if you're sitting there at a slight lean and don't hit it just right...over it goes.

I know a lot of people assume the same thing--here's a ride for those with limited mobility--but the truth is that if you can't get your feet down as you would on any bike, you'll probably have issues (though I have seen one MP3 with "training wheels" on back...still leaned a little, but not completely. Did its job, though...)

Someone with physical issues would probably be better off on a standard trike or a Can Am Spyder... the MP3 is like riding a "real" motorcycle, just without shifting.

So, what's the point of the extra wheel?

It's the world's first, the world's only Urban Assault Scooter. UAS deployment is crucial for the safety of our streets. The pure fear, intimidation and wonder one experiences in seeing this ride past keeps maleficence at bay. Add a black safety gear ensemble and you'll have every street thug thinking "Was that just "procreating" batman?!?!".

Awesome. Hands down.
